Sarah began painting seriously when she was in her early twenties and whilst working as a midwife, she attended the Royal West of England Academy studying life drawing and painting. She continued with her fine art studies with several excellent tutors when she moved to Lymington.
Sarah has had great success in many open and other exhibitions and many of her works are hanging in the homes of private collectors in both the USA and the UK.
Her work is loosely figurative but more recently the materials she uses has lead to a more Abstract approach. Sarah's work is driven by the thrill of the surprise element that occurs during the process of laying colour upon colour.
